Travel Visas and Passports

VISA

All delegates are responsible for checking their own visa requirements, and we recommend that you check with the U.S. Embassy in your country for the latest update.  However, please also see the website https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas.html which might be useful.  You should make your visa application as soon as possible and with plenty of time before you travel to the U.S.A. 

Once you have registered for the event, should you require a letter of invitation to support your visa application, please contact the IFFO office by emailing secretariat@iffo.net.  You will need to supply the following details exactly as they appear in your passport:

  • Full Name:
  • Passport Number:
  • Passport expiry date:
  • Date of birth:
  • Gender:
  • Nationality:

Please note: this letter of invitation is NOT a replacement for a visa.  It is the delegate's own responsibility to ensure that they have the correct documentation in place.  IFFO holds no responsibility for any delegate who does not gain entry to the country.

PASSPORT

To enter the U.S.A., most travellers will require a passport with at least 6 months validity from their last day of travel.  You may be denied entry if your passport expiry date isn't valid for at least 6 months after the date you are due to depart from U.S.A.  We strongly advise you to check with your travel agent.
